The primary goal of this project was to create and design a chair to benefit the student dorm experience. With a focus on what would help the overall user, the chair needed to be comfortable, long-lasting, and intentional. The design was centered on user experience.
Model FA2 is a chair that focuses on incorporating natural elements and comfortable seating positions. The purpose of incorporating natural elements is because studies show that natural elements can help with mental health issues. Mental health issues are currently rising significantly among students. Along with this, multiple scientific studies have found that seating positions can also affect anxiety and stress.
